This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for projects and services booked through Chronition Web Services ("Chronition", "we", "us" or "our"). The specific payment schedule and refund terms for your project will also be set out in your project proposal or invoice; where the two differ, your project proposal takes precedence.

1. Project Deposits

Most projects require an upfront deposit to begin work. This deposit covers initial planning, design and the time reserved for your project, and is generally non-refundable once work has started, except where Chronition is unable to begin or fails to deliver the initial scope of work.

2. Cancelling a Project In Progress

If you cancel a project after work has begun, you will be billed for the work completed up to the point of cancellation, based on the agreed project rate or milestones. Any amount paid beyond the value of completed work will be refunded within 14 business days.

3. Non-Refundable Items

Costs already paid to third parties on your behalf — such as domain registration, SSL certificates, licensed themes/plugins, or hosting already provisioned — are non-refundable once purchased, as these are typically non-refundable to us as well.

4. Maintenance & Support Plans

Ongoing maintenance, hosting or support plans billed periodically (monthly/annually) can be cancelled by giving notice as specified in your service agreement. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

5. Quality Issues

If delivered work does not match the agreed scope, please contact us first — we will revise the work to meet the agreed requirements. Refunds for quality concerns are considered on a case-by-case basis after this revision process.

6. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To cancel a project or request a refund, email us at info@chronition.co.in with your name and project details. We will confirm receipt and respond with next steps within 3 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
